IN THE KNOW WITH VICTORIA MAGRATH (A.K.A @INTHEFROW)

Hello lovelies! Welcome back to another monthly journal takeover with me - Victoria Magrath, founder of Inthefrow.com. For those of you who I am yet to have the pleasure of becoming acquainted with, I am a Content Creator (come say hey at @inthefrow!), Author of The New Fashion Rules, Brand Ambassador, and an extended member of the gorgeous and powerful Edge of Ember all-female team. 

Each month I'll be giving you a little run down of the things I'm loving, what I've been up to, and what has inspired me. So buckle up and let’s enjoy this crazy ride together!

March is always a very special time of year (even in lockdown), with the celebration of International Women's Month and Mother's Day. It's a time where we get to celebrate strong female figures and their inspiring achievements. This year I treated my mum to a little Zoom dinner date, complete with a post-box cocktail kit and a pasta tea! 

This month has been all about getting myself in a positive mindset ahead of the (fingers crossed) lockdown being lifted. I've been keeping myself active, with walks in the countryside in the company @littleboe and my husband Alex. Like many of you (I hope), I have fallen victim to the new SS21 collections of my favourite brands. A little shopping to refresh your Spring wardrobe for when we can safely socialise outdoors in the warmer weather never hurt anybody! Winter move over, it's time to make way for a new season and for me that always means injecting a little more colour into my closet. I've been loving pairing my gold jewellery pieces with burnt oranges and rusty reds. 

My latest obsession has been finding unique pieces of artwork for my home. There's nothing better than creating a totally new and calming vibe during lockdown. I recently took part in a virtual art class, I was so in awe of the artist who guided us that I snapped up a couple of her pieces to add to my collection.

My biggest takeaway for March is to embrace all your sides. Although I try to focus on the positives of what this career brings me, I'm only human and unfortunately negatives can also stick with me. Everybody goes through this, and it's important to love and learn to embrace both sides.
