Materials & Care

Solid Gold
We use certified recycled 14k solid gold in our fine jewellery styles.
Solid gold is a durable, resistant to tarnishing and works great for those with sensitive skin. We offer yellow gold and white gold; the latter is 14k solid white gold finished with a layer of rhodium.
14k solid gold is a relatively soft metal, and because our fine pieces are very delicate, we would still recommend treating them with care.

Gold Plated & Sterling Silver
Our gold-plated pieces have a thick layer of 18K gold plating over a base of sterling silver, ensuring our jewels have the highest quality. They are plated with a gold thickness between 1 to 2.5 microns.
Our silver pieces are made from recycled 925 sterling silver, which is an alloy made of 92.5% pure Silver and 7.5% Copper. They are plated in rhodium, a rare costly metal that gives it extra shine and durability.
Our jewellery metal composition complies with the European REACH regulation and the California Proposition 65.
Storing
We recommend storing your jewellery pieces separately in soft pouches to prevent scratches, and ideally in a dry and cool place away from direct sunlight.
We include one polishing cloth with every order and recommend using this to give your pieces a light polish every now and then.

Care Instructions
Care for Solid Gold items
Gold pieces stand the test of time better than other metals, but they still do get dull with regular wear. It would require just a little clean with a gold polishing cloth to shine again.
You can also soak your solid gold jewellery in lukewarm water and several drops mild washing liquid for about 15 minutes, then gently scrub off the dirt with a soft brush.
Care for Gold-plated and Silver items
Sterling silver oxidises when exposed to air, humidity, sweat or chemicals. Because of this, all gold-plated and sterling silver jewellery are prone to tarnishing overtime. Plating will wear off with regular use over time, and scratches can be more visible on high-polish items.
We would recommend avoiding showering or exercising with your jewels. Beauty products, including
hand sanitiser, perfumes, creams, hairsprays etc can cause your pieces to tarnish and discolour. We recommend always put your jewellery on last when
getting ready.
Light tarnishing can be lifted by cleaning your jewellery lightly with a soft polishing cloth.
If dirt is beginning to build up on your pieces and you need something a little stronger,
we recommend a silver polish solution.
GEMSTONES, PEARLS & DIAMONDS
Our gemstone jewellery is sourced by craftsmen in Jaipur, the global stone-cutting centre. As each natural gemstone is hand cut from a large rough rock, there are variations in colour and appearance– which is all part of its beauty.
We use only lab-grown diamonds in our fine jewellery pieces. Lab-grown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds, the only difference is that they are made without the same environmental and social
impact. They are sourced from Jaipur from a manufacturer that uses predominantly renewable energy. They are VVS1-2 and G-colour diamonds.
Many gemstones can be softer, porous (opals) or organic (pearls), and can be easily damaged by cleaning products, hand sanitisers and chlorine.
