Jewellery tells a story. What you put on your body tells the world who you are, and what you believe in.
Good jewellery is like a little superpower. We stand a bit taller with those gleaming gold hoops or diamonds around our necks. It can connect us with the people we love, and remind us of good times past (and better times to come).
Traditional jewellers sell you pieces with no backstory, so you never know how or where each piece is made. It’s time to change the narrative. The people who wear Edge of Ember love to shine. But they care just as much about the layers. They care about the world, and want to tell their life story with confidence, vulnerability and power.
We aren’t strict about many things, but who we work with is an exception. We only partner up with producers that share our values. That means certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, who pay at least living wages, are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and working proactively towards a more sustainable future.
Ever heard of lab-grown diamonds? We use them. They are created under controlled (and kind of magical) conditions, taking away the environmental damage and social impact of mined ones. And shine just as bright.
Metal with more mettle. Using recycled gold and silver, we have reduced our carbon footprint by 42%.
