Putting it into practice
Our jewellery comes with a clear conscience – no nasty stuff goes on behind the scenes. Our designs go on an adventure of their own, from conception in our London studio to creation at our partners in communities across Asia.
We work with artisan workshops and small-scale factories that are run in an ethical manner, that employ craftsmen superbly skilled in their trade. Our fashion choices have a real impact on people and the environment, so we make sure that our production processes are kind to the people that make it..
Our founder, Lynette Ong Gladstone, wanted to create quality, designer jewellery that did some good along the way. She ditched her finance job and got her hands dirty learning the art of jewellery design and craft.
We are all about girl power and we practice what we preach. This means that the Edge of Ember team in London is an all-female operation full of strong women who make empowering choices for fashion and their impact.
