How To Stack Multiple Earrings
Are you ready to join the #earparty? We hope so, because it's bigger and better than ever and everyone's invited.
For those of you who might not know; ear stacking is curating your own look; whether its combining hoops, cuffs, huggies or studs. Whether you want to go all out, or keep it dainty and simply sparkly; this is your way to personalise your ear jewellery - just like a canvas for piercings.
Scrolling through our Instagram feed, we can't help but notice delicate eye-catching clusters of earring studs or subtle pairings here and there. Whatever your style, now's the time to take ear stacking seriously. The curated stacked earrings set is not only elegant and stylish, it also gives a fun edge to anyone wanting to up their ear game.
Wondering how to wear multiple earrings? We'll break it down for you, so you can design your own unique and super stylish combination. Here’s the low-down on how to stack earrings like a pro:
1. Go for tiny stud earrings
If in doubt, go for the 'less is more' look. Delicate, small stud earrings are your friend. They give enough space between the multiple ear piercings, which makes the stacked look a lot more aesthetically pleasing.
The best option is to look for dainty small solid gold studs, which are the perfect earrings for sensitive ears (none of that redness and itching). 14k solid gold earrings can be worn pretty much all day, every day.
Some of our team members have worn their Second Skin earrings to bed and in the shower. Because they're so tiny you don’t feel like you have them on at all.
2. Add a huggie earring into the mix
Huggie hoop earrings are super popular right now, and for good reason of course.
True to their name, they are small minimalist, simple and stylish hoop earrings that “hug” the earlobe. They look great worn alone, and are versatile when worn with other earrings. You can wear them on your lobe (second or third lobe too) and also on your helix piercing.
3. Think about colour
There's nothing like a good coloured gemstone to really jazz up those bejewelled ears. Adding some sparkly white sapphires makes the ear party really pop.
They are great for anywhere in the ear - from the lobe, to the conch or helix.
4. Pair the dainty and the statement
If having multiple badass piercings is not adventurous enough for you, take it a step bolder with a statement earring into the line up. The large earring (usually hoops) is worn on the first ear piercing, then stacked up with smaller studs or even a huggie.
So, we've rounded up our favourite pierced ears look here with loads of inspiration lineups, have a look through before you book that second (or fifth) piercing appointment.
So ladies, now's the time to get stacking. We're all ears.
